Where the name comes from

Poiana la Doi Meri, from Baltagul

Poiana la Doi Meri is a real place, above the village of Văleni-Stânișoara — the glade Mihail Sadoveanu names in his novel Baltagul. The chalet later built in it took Vitoria Lipan’s name.

Readers of the novel recognise the place. For everyone else there are the mountains, the quiet and dinner in the restaurant.
